Description
The most well-known of the allegedly “ancient grains” is quinoa, which is pronounced KEEN-wah. For many generations, it has been a staple of Andean cuisine; the Incas referred to it as “the mother of all grains.” Quinoa was grown and consumed in much of South America long before Europeans arrived.
